The Reel Adventure Diaries (TRAD) is a unique film competition that gives amateur film makers the opportunity to get some real hands on film making experience.

6 finalists are selected by a panel of judges and paired with a professional extreme sports athlete.

They then go away on a long weekend to film the athlete in their environment and put together a 12 minute film.

The film maker has to come up with the story, feel and theme of the film as well as editing, music and filming.

But they aren't alone, they will be supported the whole way with equipment and expert advice to make sure that they produce a cracking DVD that will be produced for retail.
