For year 1 of the event X1 Sports is putting together a trial event in order to generate interest for the event. The trial event is going to get 200 local community kids trying kayaking and climbing in July. Depending on how this trial goes the plan is to increase the number of participants to 3,000 in year 2 across 3 different sports including Mountain Biking, Kayaking and Climbing.

At present the two locations that we are using are the Adventure Cardiff Centre in Cardiff and also the Dynamic Rock in Swansea
